Mónica Martín Bengoechea is a litigation lawyer who practices principally in civil, bankruptcy and administrative law. In the firm she is responsible for the handling of judicial, bankruptcy and administrative proceedings. She also provides specific advice on a wide range of matters relating to renewable energies.

She collaborates in our firm’s contributions to the APPA legal working group with respect to litigation in the electric sector.

Monica is fluent in Spanish, Basque and English and has a working knowledge of Catalan and French. After receiving a double degree in law and business administration from the University of Deusto, Monica undertook a double Masters degree in legal practice and corporate and tax law at the ESADE Business & Law School.

Prior to commencing with HOLTROP, Monica worked at the Cuatrecasas law firm and the international consultancy/law firm PwC in the litigation and corporate departments. Monica is a methodical, organized and efficient professional who has advised numerous different companies in the ambit of capital transactions, contracts between companies and civil, criminal, bankruptcy and administrative litigation.
